Hi Julie,
I don't think Hot shot has had a moment of peace. It was very cute to see my daughter's face when we brought it home and she looked in the trailer and saw him. He is being very pampered.
Yesterday he got the grand tour of our property with my daughter riding him bareback and with a halter. My little three yr old niece even got a chance to ride. Hot shot has been a perfect gentleman.
Thank you for a great Pony!!!! I'll keep you updated.
Thanks again, Sonja

Hailey Beavais with Hot Shot before he sold. |
Hi Julie,
Hot Shot did great at our first show. He trailered and stood by the trailer like gentleman.
She did walk/trot 10 -under
Horsmanship-4th
Western Pleasure-5th
Poles-4th
key-2nd
barrels-3rd
jump-2nd
egg and spoon-6th
Their was at least 12 in her class. so she had a blast!!!! Everyone fell in love with her and couldn't believe he is only 6.
We watched other kids on their ponies and they were very stubborn and then came little Hannah and off she would go with out any help. The hardest part was not letting him canter. Their was a 5 second penalty for breaking into a canter.
He was quite the trouper. I think I had three offers to buy him and I said no I only have had him less than a week!!!!!!
Thanks again, Sonja

Hey Julie!
Just took Jackie out on the trails this week and she did awesome! I'm so happy with her. Went riding with a friend who has a 3 year old gelding. He was acting up and she just acted like she has been doing this her whole life. My friend was very impressed and really likes her as well. Worked on suppleness and she gives her head very nicely.
She's got a good head about her and is smart. Starting to get more of a personality. We put her in the barn at night with 5 other geldings and to her it's just no big deal. They all whinny at her and she just stands there looking around like "guys get over yourselves." She's so pretty and such a sweetheart. Thanks again! ttyl

Clinic / Riding Lesson Testimonials: Julie & Jessica were pleasant & both offered good suggestions and when we didn't understand a move or what was being done you either explained it or showed us. Tina
What I liked about this clinic than the other clinics I attended is we worked more on techiques and I learned how to get my horse to shape. I also like that it was a small group. Brittany

| I wanted you to know that your massage really made a big difference in Dixie. As you |
know, she has been really very hard to ride. The use of the gel pad under the saddle helped a lot. But as you saw on Sunday, she still had a lot of head tossing going on.
I rode her today and she was the horse I had last fall. Sure she still gapes her mouth at the bit, but the head toss was minimal.
Thanks a lot.

Equine Essentials Testimonial:
With my 19 year gelding Festus, Equine Essentials, a Tahitian Noni product worked the best over Glucosime, Senior Flex, Cosquen and Legend. Festus was a very picky eater and mainly ate hay and grass all summer as he did not like grain or supplements. I could easily syringe Equine Essentials and it made Festus gain weight all summer and have a lot of energy.
2003 MBRA Results: http://www.greatlakesequine.com/MBRA/2003YearEndStandings.htm - Not on Equine Essentials - Was on Senior Flex 2004 (I won $3,347.10 dollars to count towards MBRA).
MBRA Results: http://www.greatlakesequine.com/MBRA/2004Standings.htm - On Equine Essentials. (I won $6,403.53 dollars to count towards MBRA; which is just about double what I won in 2003). I owned Festus from the spring of 1999 until the spring of 2005, so the extra winnings where not becuase I was used to him, I already knew everything about him by 2002 and we where just growing old together! : )
I sold him in 2005 to a little girl that won her first saddle on him this summer.
I also feed Equine Essentials to colts and have had good results. The week of the North Star Rodeo Cody was riding one of our two year olds that was on Equine Essentials and was rounding up bulls and a bull came after them three times, two times hitting the horse and once the bulls horns picked the horse up. Needless to say the colt had some scrapes, but was never sore and never got bute or anything besides the Equine Essentials and was ridden the very next day to help heard up stock.

Johna and her AQHA gelding "Dusty / Buju's "
Dusty was the first horse that Julie broke out from scatch in 2000, started on the barrels and poles and threw a rope off of.
Dear Julie & Jolene,
Just thought I'd drop you a note to tell you how much fun I've been having with Buju.
I took him to his first Pleasure Show, we got a 2nd, 3rd and two 6th. We were very pleased. I've been working lightly on the barrels. We have also put many miles on the trails.
Good luck all season, to everbody!
Thanks,
Johna & Buju

Dear Julie & Jolene
Thought I'd drop you a note to tell you how great Buju is doinging. I moved him to a differnt barn and he's very happy there. I was grounded for a month due to back injury as we missed a couple of shows. Our last show August 18th, 2001 we were in:
| 2&3 year Halter |
2nd Place |
| Sr. Showmanship |
6th Place |
| 5 years and under Snaffel Bit Pleasure |
1st Place |
| Sr. Pleasure |
1st Place |
| Sr. Horsemanship |
1st Place |
| Egg & Spoon |
3rd Place |
Pleasure riding isn't my true love, but because he is so young I thought it would be a great way to give him a good mind before we move on. We also practice spped events, but really easy this year. Next year will be a different story.
I get tons of complaiments on my horse and I am very proud to tell them where he came from.
Thanks,
Johna & Buju
